In order to reach optimal body condition, you may need to adjust food intake. This represents the total recommended volume of food per day. You should divide the total recommended feeding amount by the number of times you feed your cat per day to get the actual portion size per feeding.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Alisha from Picky Cat – Natural’s Not for Him We’ve only fed Zipper Iams dry food. His usual is the original chicken. However, when that was out of stock at our grocery store my husband picked up the Natural’s chicken. Honestly, my husband thought Iams had just repackaged the chicken. Well, we filled Zipper’s bowl and the food sat there for 3 days! The poor cat was stealing food off OUR plates, and even attempted Hot Cheetos he was so hungry. I thought maybe his bowl needed to be washed out better, so I dumped Iams natural, and poured him another bowl. He took a nibble, then walked away. After three days, of scavenging, and feeling sorry for the Hot Cheeto steeling feline – I went to another store and bought a bag of the Original. He is happily pigging out. Iams Natural is not for my picky cat. If yours is happily munching one type of food I’d stick with it – even if you have to drive a few miles to different stores to find the right stuff. The “Healthy Naturals” line from Iams is moderately better than their base Iams line, but not by much. Plus, is it saying much to say that any food is better than Iams? It’s like saying what you’re eating is more nutritious than a Big Mac…we need to know HOW MUCH more nutritious it is…and like I said, this is only moderately (read: a little) better.

Iams discontinued the large bag (just got off the phone with them) due to low consumer usage) Now I must double up on the smaller 11.2 lb. bag. This is good food for them, and I do not want to switch for economy purposes. As anyone with a cat knows, switching their food is not a good idea. We live in the country and a trip to the store is kind of a big deal & it was handy to buy the bigger bag. Sorry Iams that you discontinue the economy bag. Lots of us folks have multiple kitties that eat a lot of your product. Please bring it back for them. Date published: 2016-09-07
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cats Mom from CAT Loves it- I wish it were more widely available I bought this because my cat was throwing up often after eating. He loved it right off, didn’t throw up once while eating this formula. Ran out, I had some of another Iams food, first he just turned up his nose. I didn’t have time to get a new bag for two days, ( I have only found this in one store), second day he threw up twice, went out in the middle of the night to get him a new bag. He was so happy he ate the whole bowl down- no problem. Hasn’t thrown up since. Love this food. Wish I could find it in more locations, Date published: 2016-08-25
Rated 1 out of 5 by River girl from Salmon only, please! I have fed my 5 year old male cat the Isms Naturals Atlantic Salmon dry food for nearly four years, and suddenly, when I’m down to one bag, it is no longer available. Now salmon is mixed with chicken. My cat won’t touch it. My cat hates chicken, even Costco rotisserie chicken. PLEASE bring back the Atlantic Salmon formula, even if it’s more expensive!!! I am buying expensive salmon food from random companies, at a high price, and he tries to bury them! Come on! Date published: 2015-08-28
This saves me so much money. The cats are eating a lot less, and staying in good condition. The litter boxes do not need cleaning as often, either. So, I am saving money on cat food and cat litter. They particularly love it (in this hot summer heat) Cold, right out of the refrigerator. As soon as I bring the nice cold kibble out of the refrigerator, all 4 cats start meowing; they really dig in and chow down !
Rated 5 out of 5 by SiameseMom from Great food for my Siamese! My Siamese babies are very picky eaters, but at the same time I want a food that is nutritious for them. This food has been amazing! Not only do my four legged babies love it, but NO HAIR BALLS! Their weight is balanced and their coat is very shiny. The only thing, it’s hard to find in the large bag and I usually have to order it online. A very happy family. Date published: 2015-07-24

So in the end, it’s a mix. The additions of apples, carrots and peas are a nice touch. If you’re going to buy your food at Walmart, this may be the best you can do. I’d ask that any pet owner get away from grocery stores to buy pet food, but this is the least offensive. It could have been much better, though.
